Brendon has practiced law at Merrill & Merrill since graduating from Washburn University School of Law with Dean’s Honors in 1999. Brendon graduated from Idaho State University, with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science in 1995.

Brendon’s practice is primarily litigation-based, with focus in civil litigation, Social Security, family law, and criminal law. He has handled hundreds of Social Security claims as a representative for claimants, served as lead counsel in many jury trials throughout the State of Idaho, and has represented clients on appeals before the Idaho Supreme Court. Brendon works in the area of insurance defense, having represented Farm Bureau Mutual Insurance Company of Idaho and Allstate Insurance Company. Brendon’s criminal practice includes defense of infractions, DUIs, misdemeanor, and felony charges.

Brendon has been a member of the Portneuf Inns of Court, has graded bar exams for applicants to the Idaho bar on multiple occasions and is active in the local bar. He is a long-time member of the Southeast Idaho community, having grown up in Blackfoot, attended college in Pocatello, and having lived in Pocatello for his entire professional career. He volunteers for the Boy Scouts of America, and is actively involved in church and other local organizations.

Brendon and his wife, Rochelle, have been married since 1995, and have four children.
